Just over a month left!

In mid November I will be finished with this whole writing for a year process. I will still write stories just not everyday. Most likely I will go with once a week or every other week so I can expand from very short stories to longer, more interesting stories. I am a little sad this is over and a little happy. Writing everyday is great but getting so difficult. By the end of this I will have written 365 stories and poems. That is nuts! Thank you everyone for reading my stories and being my fans. I can't wait to see where this all takes me!

Tonight Scott and I are going to go see Gone Girl and I am SOOOOOOO excited! The book was incredible and everyone should read it! I have an open mind about the movie, I know that the big screen and books have to be different because of theatrics and that is okay so long as I feel the same way watching the movie as I did reading the book. Many people cannot understand that but, to me, they are almost two different universes. Things have to be changed and things have to be left out for it to run properly on film. That is the beauty of a book. It is like you have an inside secret as to why things are happening on screen. You get to know things that no one else knows unless they stuck their head in a book!

I hope everyone is having a good week and thanks again for reading my stuff!

The Moon

Far outside sitting above the dark horizon sat the moon shining a yellow glow down on the September night. The stars twinkled and danced with the moon as it's big crescent formed a smile
on the earth. It was a lovely sight and I could not help but want to devour the moon! I plucked it from its comfy home tucked amongst the clouds and popped the delicate beauty in my mouth. It melted on my palate and settled nicely in my tummy but the world seemed out of sorts. The world cried at not having its beloved moon and the stars darted all over searching for its glorious light. My heart was sad that impulse took so much from the sky. I dashed to my desk and grabbed some craft glitter. I mixed it with glue and rolled it into a ball then tossed it in the air where it would stick to the sky. A new moon sat there in the sky, shinier than before and just as much a visual delight.

The Masked People

Long ago lived a group of people. They constantly lived with a mask in front of their faces. They did not see themselves as beautiful or handsome and for fear of being rejected they his behind these exquisite masks. Many people found love and lived full lives but others could not do this. They were always searching for truth and meaning. One day two people took off their masks. They walked the world without hiding their faces. They were normal, not hideous like everyone thought of themselves. They felt freedom from a weight of insecurity and instead traveled about the lands like doves soaring in the bright sky. Eventually the two mask-less people found each other and fell in love. They saw joy, happiness, passion on the other person's face and knew they could not go back to a life of wearing masks. They were able to fall in love with all that the other one had to offer. Because of these two ancient people, we no longer walk the earth wearing masks. We still hide the masks deep inside our souls but we allow ourselves to feel and see what we really are inside and out.
