Teaser: New Year New Challenge

Hi everybody! It has been a couple months but I am back. I desperately needed a creative break but that is over. As you know, last year I started a challenge to write one short story or poem a day everyday for a year. That was so tough at the end but I stuck with it and finished the year. This year I have challenged myself to write one story a day every week for the year. That is much easier than one a day. I will do 52 longer short stories and not get burnt out after a couple hundred short short stories. This will allow me to expand on some older stories and create some interesting stuff. I am taking requests so if there is something you would love to read please let me know!

Before I go, here are some pictures of my life the past couple of months (just a few I promise) and I would also like to give a shout out to the group The Fly On The Wall that I am a part of on Facebook. We post any and all topics having to do with history. It is a great page and I am happy to be a part of it, so, if you love history go like the page!

Happy New Year everyone!

My sister from another mister taking fun selfies with my little niece. I just adore this picture.

Miss Ava everyone! She's such a gem and my sweet little nugget.

She loves her aunt so much she puked on me. Mmm... breast milk puke!

She LOVES me! I held her all day and she was so perfectly happy with that.

My brother is the one smack in the middle in the back row.

First selfie in 3 months!

I could live on the beach. Mission Beach is just serenely beautiful.

Seriously Colorado? Could you be any more beautiful? I would like to add that this is not filtered. Colorado is just that gorgeous.

Not only did my brother become a Marine but my bestie became a Sailor the very next week!

I got to hang out with this pretty lady!

I love this picture of my handsome husband peering at the cat under the tree.

I bought Humans of New York (go get it and read it!) and my copy had the author's signature and he drew a dinosaur!

Best Christmas gift ever from the best husband ever!

First picture of 2015

I hope everyone had a great 2014! Now let's make 2015 incredible (preferably with a Broncos Super Bowl win!)!! Tomorrow starts story 1 of 52.
